| Ralph Edwards Productions, headquartered in Hollywood, California, dates back before World War II. Founder, Ralph Edwards, is considered a pioneer in both the radio and television industries having launched such classic long running programs as, Truth or Consequences, This Is Your Life and The Peoples Court. Through its various shows, both on radio and television, Ralph Edwards Productions has raised tremendous amounts of money for worthy causes. Ralph Edwards helped to launch the American Heart Association. During World War II, Edwards sold 1/2 BILLION dollars worth of Treasury E Bonds through audience involvement with the Truth or Consequences show. After the War, a fund was established via a This Is Your Life telecast for the permanent memorial of the U.S.S. Arizona in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The March of Dimes, The American Cancer Society, The American Parkinson Disease Association and many schools and colleges have benefitted from the generous fund raising efforts of Ralph Edwards Productions. The Make-A-Wish Foundation®, the worlds largest wish granting charity for children with life-threatening illnesses, has also benefitted from the fund raising efforts of Ralph Edwards. The message of the Foundation has much in common with the message of selfless giving to others found in Ralph Edwards Productions classic holiday animated film: "Annabelle's Wish ". Ralph Edwards Productions has continued its tradition of charitable giving by raising more than $2.4 million for Make-A-Wish Foundation though the release of "Annabelle's Wish ". |
